The parade starts at Balbo and Columbus. The parade units will proceed north on Columbus Drive and the viewing stand will be located in front of Buckingham Fountain.

Scheduled for 10:45 am, Saturday March 17th, the dyeing can be best viewed from the East side of the Michigan Avenue bridge, the West side of the Columbus Drive bridge or upper and lower Wacker Drive between Michigan Avenue and Columbus Drive.

Growing in popularity each year, this annual parade is one of the largest in the western suburbs. The 70-plus entries include several bagpipe bands, the award-winning Proviso Marching Band, local businesses, Medinah Shriner's Mini Choppers, Roaring 57's and Clown Unit, area police and fire vehicles, floats, Irish Dancers, Forest Park Dog Park, Toys for Tots and more. The festivities continue after the parade as local and area residents, friends and families spend the day on Madison Street.

The Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade will be held in Quincy on Saturday, March 12th, 2011. The parade will begin at 11am at 12th and Maine Streets and end at 5th and Maine Streets. The lineup for the parade will take place from 12th to 24th on Maine Street beginning at 10 am.

Bring your family and friends to the Annual Irish Parade on TBA stepping off at 2:00 p.m. from Central Middle School at 181st and Oak Park Avenue and traveling north on Oak Park to 172nd Street. Join the Blackbird School of Irish Dance, the
Stockyard Kilty Band pipers, and many other organizations for the parade, which will include between 80 to 90 units and will last about 1-1/2 hours. The best viewing area is located at 173 Street and Oak Park Avenue, and public parking is available at the Metra station and on side streets near
the parade route.
