Starts at 27th and Blake Streets (in Lower Downtown Denver), Blake to 17th, 17th to Wynkoop, Wynkoop to 19th, 19th to Wewatta around to Coors Field Parking
Passes Reviewing Stand: 10:15 a.m. (In front of Coors Field on Blake St.) Sponsors: Bellco Credit Union, Alice 105.9, KOSI 101.1, 99.5 The Mountain Grand Marshal: The Bridies. The Bridies bring together the lead fiddle soloists from Michael Flatley's 'Lord of the Dance' and 'Celtic Tiger' shows, the lead accordionist from 'Riverdance' and a guitarist from some of Ireland's most popular bands. Theme: “Shamrockin 2010,” spotlights the significant contributions the Irish have made to music over the years. Presented by: Denver St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee, an all-volunteer, non-profit organization. Carol Quinn, President. Entries: The parade includes floats, clowns, pipe bands, Irish step dancers, military honorees, equestrian and animal units (including Longhorn cattle), fraternal organizations including El Jebel Shriners, and much, much more! Fort Collins St Patrick's Day Parade 2010 TBA
Lucky Joe's St. Patrick's Day Parade will bring out all of the Irish Folk and lots more on Saturday, March 13, 2010! Come celebrate the luck of the Irish at 10:00am when the parade begins on Walnut Ave (North side of Old Town Sq.) The parade route (print map here) is North on Walnut, turns south on College Ave and travels in the south bound lanes until making a left on Magnolia. The last stretch of the parade will be north along Remington Ave. until it connects with Mountain again! The parade is FREE to the public and open to all!
