Cabo Roig Costa Blanca St Patricks Day Parade

Cabo Roig is turning green for St. Patrick's Day, 17th March and hosting a fabulous parade and party to celebrate Ireland´s national saint. Last year parade was the largest in Spain and this years will be bigger, brighter and even more fun.

The strip will turn into a sea of green for the day, with all the Bars & Restaurants offering all things Irish including Food, Drink, Music & Hospitality together with face painting, street Magicians, bouncy castles & Irish & Flamenco Dancers.

The parade promises to be a spectacular and colourful event with several local & Irish dignitaries led by Padge Connolly. a TD until 2007 and currently a member of Monaghan County Council, Irish Pipe band, 2 more marching bands, a cavalcade of Vintage cars, a huge procession of Harley Davison motorbikes, ex Irish army members will be represented, a pageant of Beauty Queens, a horse drawn carriage and much, much more. The local bars and restaurants will be well represented who together with the neighbouring urbanisations will join the parade to add more fun, humour and colour to this festival of Ireland.

This will be a fun day with something for all the family with loads of prizes and giveaways.

The parade will commence between Slievenamon and Bog Road at 3.30 and proceed past the Trinity and Rianxeria onto Calle Cielo passing Bar Liquid and Flanagans ending at Cabo Roig roundabout.

The Town Hall is in full support of the event and has organised a spectacular Fireworks display at 10.30 pm. to round off what will be a memorable day.
