Killorglin The Fishery Pub is one of Killorglin's best known pubs, set in a spectacular setting at the edge of the River Laune and near the famous 'Puck Goat' statue.Each year on August 10th, a Puck Fair is held. The Puck, a ‘decorated’ wild mountain goat is led to the town square , crowned , then ceremoniously placed on a 25 ft high platform where he stays for the next three days and nights. The well-known song An Poc ar buile, 'The Mad Puck Goat', is associated with the festival which dates from the seventeenth century.
