Eugene Run for the Shamrock

A St. Patrick's Day tradition in Eugene for 32 years! The Run for the Shamrock is hosted by the Sheldon "Irish" High School Track and Field Team and proceeds go to the program. There are two distances to choose from. The courses for the 10 kilometer run (6.2 miles) and the 5 kilometer run/walk (3.1 miles) both cross the Willamette river twice and use bike paths.  There are prizes for Age Group winners (five year age groups beginning at 15 years-old) in the 10k race and prizes for the overall (Male and Female) winners in the 5k run. There will be a prize drawing for all race entrants.
