NEW BRUNSWICK TOURIST ATTRACTIONS
Fundy National Park covers the Maritime Acadian Highlands Natural Region. The Fundy coastline is famous for its massive tides rising up to 50 ft! These are caused by the funnel shape of the Bay of Fundy. Acadian refers to the colonial territory owned by France in the 17th and early 18th centuries. In the interior of the Park, the land has recovered from the de-forestation resulting from the ship building of previous generations.
