MANITOBA TOURIST ATTRACTIONS

Riding Mountain National Park is situated on the Manitoba Escarpment which was formed by glacial erosion. The retreating glaciers left behind thousands of lakes called prairie potholes, the perfect habitat for waterfowl. These prairie potholes are a famous Manitoba attraction as most of the other potholes have disappeared due to intensive agriculture.
